She certainly owns someone’s healthy hair.

So? I had a human hair wig when I went through chemo.

It can be very emotional to lose one’s hair and “look sick” - in hindsight I think I found that piece harder than actual chemotherapy.

Unless you’ve walked in the shoes, you have no idea what choices you’d make.

There’s nothing wrong with it being a weird but it’s insanity for so many people to see an obvious wig or hairpiece of some kind and bend themselves in pretzels about it being real hair. You can’t simultaneously want people to be sympathetic for losing her hair and also try and police people saying the obvious.

It’s pretty hilarious to see the Kate Stans get all worked up because people have eyes…

This might just be a bad photo….
Or the lighting could be bad.
But in this photo her lighter hair color does not compliment her skin coloring.

Since she went through chemo last year, I suspect she has been wearing wigs while her natural hair grew back.

Only because I never met anyone who underwent chemotherapy for cancer keep their hair….everyone I have known has lost their hair.
Even those who took chemo pills at home.

Princess Kate makes yet another hair transformation after blonde hairdo went viral
Prince William and his wife attended rival rugby matches on Saturday, with Kate rocking an updo in her hair after it got attention on Thursday

The Princess of Wales made a surprise solo outing on Saturday, stepping out to watch a Women's Rugby World Cup match between England and Australia at Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium – and she looked as pristine as ever. The topic of much discussion this week, Kate's hair was styled in a half-updo with the top section pulled away from her face, while the lengths were styled in loose waves which tumbled down her back. The sleek hairstyle, which was kept away from her face and shoulders, ensured attention wasn't drawn to the colour, which, incidentally, looked back to its usual rich chocolate brown hue.

Yeah, the wig was a misfire so she switched it out. Nbd.

I think it was a wig or hairpiece(s) and was a rare misstep in her hair and fashion choices.

It's really a reflection on her hair stylist, not her. No one thinks she dyes her own hair. And yes, her stylist got it wrong this time. Her hair looked better a few weeks ago, and that was also post-cancer treatment.

I have dark hair if I wanted to try out going blonde I would absolutely try a wig before I would damage my hair by lightening it. Maybe that’s what happened here.

I know someone who used this cold cap treatment successfully to keep her hair: https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/hometown-health/speaking-of-health/scalp-cooling-therapy-prevents-hair-loss-during-chemotherapy

The only big deal about the wig is that it looked comically bad.

Celebrities and public figures use extensions, hair pieces and wigs all the time. However, it’s rare that someone chooses to wear such an ill-fitting and unattractive wig to a media event. That’s the only significance.

If Kate had worn the wig from the rugby game, nobody would be talking about it.

The late queen's wig was also comically bad. And have you seen all the weird hats they wear? I think its just their culture to wear silly stuff. Let them be.

Why?

All I got to say that natural or wig it's time for her to dispense with the Lady Godiva super-long locks. It's not attractive and make her look ridiculous. Meghan Markle needs a good chop, too.

Meghan’s hair looks beautiful and is at a good length. Let’s stay on topic here.

You think it’s British culture to wear MAGA hairstyles?

I know Kate just copies outfits she sees other women wear, but this was a huge fail. This wig is longer than she wore her hair in her 20’s. Of course it was going to look horrible. The queen’s colorful hats looked cute and added personality.

It does not. It is a mess on her show.
