It was only open on weekends, right? How about the store clothing store Sassafras? I went to the one on Rockville Pike, in the shopping center where TGI Fridays is. Their newspaper ads always used models that were drawn rather than photos. I think Sassafras closed in the early 90s. |

Yes, it was a religious channel for I don't know how long, but it gradually turned from the religious programming and started showing some of the old tv shows like Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies and the show with "Mr. Ed". This was before we had access to cable tv.
