That Ukraine sure is good at pretending to be civilians and exploiting Russia's leniency. Stunts like these don't really impact the war much, but they certainly do motivate Russia to finish the job. And that job probably doesn't end at Kiev.

Putin looks weak & flat footed, Zalensky looks clever. Trump likes people who are clever & win. Look how Trump responded to Israel’s pager operation that took out Hezbollah; this operation by Ukraine was on the same level. Also, by taking out a significant portion of Russia’s Pacific bombing fleet, Ukraine did something that helps the U.S. Our military generals will be reminding Trump of this.

If Zalensky was smart, he’d bring Trump a gold drone mounted like a trophy.

Based on best sources, Russia has (or had) in its strategic aircraft fleet:
58 TU-22 and variants
47 TU-95 and variants
15 TU-150M

Of these 120 strategic aircraft, it is reported that Russia had 40 destroyed or damaged. PP's math adds up.
