Bullis offense had many, many possessions where whoever had the ball dodged and shot. One possession saw 4 shots backed up and re-start didn't have a single pass. Their poles aren't the best ball handlers but are physical. Maher should be shooting as much as the rest of the team combined, he's that good. Bellistri has a lot of parents to keep happy. That said, they should be in the finals of the IAC. |
Wednesday Result
St. Paul's 12 Bullis 11 Thursday Games Loyola Blakefield at Georgetown Prep -2. Paul VI at Christchurch - VA +5. Ponte Vedra - FL at The Heights -1. Our Lady of Good Counsel -5 at St. Albans +5 |
Bullis should drop in the Madlax rankings next week. |
Hero ball comes back to Bullis offense. Middie floatation was horrible. Man up offense looked terrible, after looking decent earlier in the year. Defense is very leaky, and candidly, they look out of shape. JB/staff got out coached. See if they can fix it and get back to what worked against STAB. |
Better not mention ratings, the pervy poster is going to lose his mind. |
Are you saying a 0-3 SJC will take over the #1 spot. Unless the local beats Bullis a one goal loss isn't enough to drop them. |
St. Paul’s won’t even make the MIAA playoffs. |
If GP wins, they go to #1. |
Offense on Falls Road hasn't really clicked in a couple years. Didn't they lose a longtime OC/assistant last year? |
What is middie floatation? |
Agreed. Spalding best in MIAA. STP defense is not strong which says a lot about SjC and Bullis not getting wins against them. Also agree with other post that the UNC commit on STP is light years stronger than his counterpart at McDonogh whose name has gotten him the accolades versus his play on field. Definitely a down year for DMV lacrosse, talent is there but it’s spread thin. |
Top teams in MIAA this year:
Tier I 1. Spalding 2. McDonogh 3. St Paul’s 4. BL Tier II 1. Calvert Hall 2. Gilman 3. Loyola 4. severn 5. St Marys Tier III 1. MSJ 2. John Carroll MIAA is such a brutal conference, the depth of the conference is truly astounding. Even MSJ or John Carroll can sneak up on you. Compared to the WCAC, there is a massive drop off in team play after the top 4 teams (DJO, BI, Ryken, Carroll, MacNamara) And yes St Paul’s has the best offensive player in the league (save the Millón nonsense - if it wasn’t for his Daddy he is not a top 50 recruit). Anyone in Baltimore who follows the MIAA knows this. Bullis has talent but they don’t play well together as a team. |
Is this the MIAA forum now? |
Big one this afternoon in Rockville.
