I don’t get what the problem is. Doesn’t PR actually have a trash issue? Isn’t the point of the joke to point out how terrible PR has been treated by our government? The comic wasn’t talking about the people. It’s not a racist joke. It’s the truth. The island has been neglected by FEMA and has a huge waste problem that impacts its population (and the earth!) negatively. Who the hell cares what Bad Bunny or Ricky Martín think anyway? Thank you to Puerto Ricans and the Latino/Latina community for showing us all how to stand up to Donald Trump! The entire community has rallied in such an absolute way. So many of us have been appalled by Trump & his team's language and behavior. It's reassuring to hear a group finally say unequivocally "enough".
