So would Vance v Harris! |
Why would Harris agree to a debate on Fox. Any ratings Fox get will mean more money for Fox to use to attack Dems and the constitution. |
That's what you're going with? Really? Weird. |
No Fox debate. It’s NOT a news channel. Blatant propaganda. Their tagline literally says, “the world according to Fox” |
Not weird at all. This is 100% what happened. You don’t think so? Weird! |
Um, the first nominee dropped out and was replaced by the VP candidate. And now Twump is uh-fwaid! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Trump backed out of a debate in 2020 with Biden and refused to debate at all in this year's primaries. Trump has a history of avoiding debates. |
Winner winner chicken dinner. let’s recap: 1Trump is terrified of debating Biden. 2 3Trump is a coward, Trump isn’t showing up, etc. 4Trump agrees to debate without an audience, press observers and reporters, and with the moderators controlling the microphones. Biden demanded those things before he agreed to debate. Trump agreed immediately. 5 CNN bans White House pool reporters from debate room https://www.reuters.com/world/us/cnn-bans-white-house-pool-reporters-debate-room-2024-06-27/ WASHINGTON, June 27 (Reuters) - The White House Correspondents' Association said on Thursday CNN has rejected multiple requests to include White House pool reporters inside the studio during the first presidential debate between incumbent Joe Biden and Republican rival Donald Trump. The press pool, made up of representatives of major news organizations including Reuters, accompanies the president on foreign and domestic trips and normally has access to any event where he speaks or appears in public, with the goal of keeping the U.S. public informed. It is extremely rare for them to be barred from an event in the United States. "WHCA is deeply concerned that CNN has rejected our repeated requests to include the White House travel pool inside the studio," Kelly O'Donnell, president of the White House Correspondents' Association, said in a statement. "The pool is there for the 'what ifs?' in a world where the unexpected does happen," she said, and to provide "context and insight by direct observation and not through the lens of the television production," she said.” 6 7 8 9 ![]() 10 Trump is “scared”again |
Commission cancels second debate between Trump and Biden https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/09/politics/second-presidential-debate-canceled/index.html CNN — The Commission on Presidential Debates on Friday canceled the second debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden after the President declined to do a virtual debate despite concerns over his Covid-19 diagnosis, organizers said. The Trump campaign, in response to their candidate backing out of the debate, issued three statements on Thursday that slammed the commission, pushed the Biden campaign to agree to an in-person debate and said they would be willing to push the October 15 debate back a week to October 22 and then move the third debate to October 29, just days before the November 3 election. But Biden’s campaign rejected their proposal, with campaign spokeswoman Kate Bedingfield saying in response, “Donald Trump doesn’t make the debate schedule; the debate commission does.” The Trump campaign has argued that because the President’s physician, Navy Cmdr. Dr. Sean Conley, has cleared him for travel, the commission should move the debate to an in-person setting. Trump is now in talks to do a town hall with NBC on Thursday in lieu of the debate, according to a person familiar with the plans, but that source cautioned things have not been finalized yet. He wanted an in person debate. How is that avoiding debates? “The Democratic National Committee has expressed full support for incumbent president Joe Biden and has no plans to host any official primary debates. As such, the debates held are instead sponsored by private organizations, and are only being held among Biden's primary challengers.“ Biden refused to debate his primary challengers. If he had, his mental and physical deterioration might have been exposed and democrats could have fielded a better candidate. |

Ah back to the coconut tree.

She absolutely will not and should not. Trump is too afraid to debate her on ABC. That is that. Who wants a president that is afraid to debate on ABC? No one. |
The GOP could have replaced their unpopular candidate with someone younger and more with it, but they didn't.
That isn't the Dems fault. |
