I prefer painted toe nails with sandals as my toe nails look uneven - in natural color, texture and shape otherwise, but I prefer colorless finger nails that are nonetheless well groomed (cuticles cleaned up/ nails filed evenly).

This is just a matter of taste not universal standards.

I make about $200k but dress like a slob. Covered with dog hair. I don’t color my hair. bite my nails. Garden barefoot so me feet are always dirty. I met a friend for coffee today and honestly I know I looked like a homeless person.

I'm trashy in pretty much all the ways. I dress terribly, I am overweight, I have more than 3 kids, I own a chihuahua, I drive an old inefficient gas powered car, I have a southern accent, I eat at McDonalds, I love wal-mart, I'm eating bacon right now, I sleep late on the weekends, and I generally don't care or notice how you feel about it.

Leaving too many lights on at night (low energy ones but still)
Have not yet made to switch to renewable energy as solar panels are so expensive and we have too much shade .. even paying PEPCO or other energy suppliers for renewable energy would double our bill so we have not done that yet.
Use precut veggies in cooking
Don’t shop at farmers markets even though I mean to

I grew up in a redneck area with redneck parents. Now I live in Bethesda but I retain a lot of my hick ways because I am domestic and frugal.

All our food scraps get thrown in the woods behind our house.
I make cutoffs when my kids’ pants can no longer be patched.
I wil pick up left items at the park or next to the sidewalk. If I can’t use them I clean them up and donate to charity.
