Surprise, surprise. AOC now calling for Clarence Thomas to either resign or be impeached: https://thehill.com/homenews/house/600145-ocasio-cortez-to-clarence-thomas-resign-or-face-impeachment

Who could have seen that coming? Oh, wait, me. I did. Doubt all you want haters.

WTF are you talking about? We all have been saying the same thing. CT has no place on the SCOTUS.

He absolutely should resign. Even as Republican you should understand that being a traitor to your country is bad.

Republicans don't see it that way - they think that everything they do to wrench power away from Democrats is patriotic and unambiguously good.

We're close to war with Russa, and the Thomases helped Putin try to overthrow the U.S. government. Ginni Thomas did the legwork, and Clarence Thomas helped her cover it up.

They're both threats to the well-being of the United States.

That doesn’t reflect anything other than the misogyny and double standards of society, but especially of the right wing. I sincerely doubt that Clarence Thomas is any less crazy than Ginni Thomas, but for some reason only she comes in for being called an extremist.

And this is the difference between the Republican party of today and the Republican Party as it existed at the time of Watergate. When Watergate occurred, there were principled leaders in the Republican party who valued the democratic ideals of America vs. partisan power. They were willing to turn on Nixon for the good of the country, even though it meant that the Republican party lived in the political wilderness for slightly more than 5 years until the rise of Reagan. The Republican Party today is controlled predominantly by white men (with a few white women as accomplices) who value holding power above all else, even if the result is a one-sided authoritarian state.

And nothing is going to pull the GOP back. They’re ducking insane.

Ginni Thomas used to be connected with a cult called Lifespring. She admitted it herself in the 90s and was counseled by the Cult Awareness Network on leaving the cult. She probably is naturally drawn to certain charismatic and fervent organizations. I really don't think this is misogyny.

So he’s guilty by association, or you have proof?

+1 It’s OK to call someone an extremist who is ranting that the Biden Crime Family is in prison for ballot fraud at GITMO.

And I’m saying I think Clarence is as crazy as Ginni.
