No, already mentioned they think they can emulate the Obama model. Some people really do take themselves very seriously

Non-profit racket, the netflix and book deal shakedowns? But what do or did they have to offer? They're nobodies. Obamas controlled the world for 8 years.

She's been busting her butt to do a good job and she is being called an ape on a daily basis in the tabloids. I'd be on the verge of a breakdown, too. These people are vicious.

Same.

Add in being in a new country, no friends or family around, everyone she knew and love back in Vancouver or Los Angeles or Miami, and being pregnant/post-partum.

Most of you would have broken in weeks. Hell, I've seen women complain on these boards if their MIL has the termity to want to visit them in the hospital first postpartum let alone having a family and country demand you do a painful walk post-birth and smile for the cameras.

Jackals.

You say this like a death march to Aleppo! All she had to do literally was to open the door, stand on the porch, waive, and walk ten steps to the car. Come on. Most women are perfectly capable of that the next day after birth (assuming nonsurgical) and they don't have access to her glam squad.

Most women are in the hospital at least 2-3 days post-birth.

I haven't had a single friend or relative leave on the same day. Diana was in tears after she did it.

https://www.latintimes.com/why-princess-diana-cried-after-first-photo-call-prince-william-437997

“When I left the hospital, I could barely put one foot in front of the other,” she said. “My stitches were killing me. It was such a strain to stand there and smile even just for a few minutes. As soon as the car disappeared around the corner out of sight of the photographers, I burst into tears,” she added.

But you don't HAVE to leave on the same day. I don't think the British public would hold it against her if she stayed at the hospital for three or four days after birth, and made her walk on day 5. Diana cried because she was unstable and at the time didn't yet learn to control the media to her advantage.

Nearly everyone I know who had a vaginal birth left after exactly 24 hours. Midwife births can leave after 8 or 12. I would have loved to have left a few hours after giving birth. My house is so much nicer than a hospital and no one would wake us.

+1. The only reason I stayed the second night was back then you could still send the baby to the nursery. If I gave birth now with the “no nursery” culture I’d leave early too.

She literally said she was crying because she was in physical pain.

How can you twist her own words so blatantly?

If they are such losers, why do you even care what they do?

Harry's close friend, broadcaster Tom Bradby, warned that the couple could do an explosive 'tell all' interview if they didn't get their way and it wouldn't 'be pretty';

Keeping it klassy.

He also said he had an idea of what went down.

That family has been blatantly unsupportive. If they've also been sexist and racist, it should come to light. And not 50 years after everyone's died either.

God, she is such a whiny baby.

This gigantic thread is proof that absolutely no one cares about them and their decisions. Nobody! No one at all. In fact there’s probably one or two trolls defending Meghan for nearly 200 pages. I’m sure if it.

Never mind the overwhelming international news coverage. Don’t you guys see that NOBODY cares what they do? They have zero influence, really NONE! It’s quite obvious.

Sounds like they've embraced the American model of calling everyone they don't agree with sexist and/or racist or whatever -ist they can come up. Bring it on; it would be hilarious to see them accuse the Queen of being sexist. I bet the Brits would love that!

Has nothing to do with the topic at hand but I have always wandered how the British justify encouraging women to be mute wallflowers while also swearing fealty to a female sovereign for 70+ years.

Is it just because the Queen is legendary for having no opinions on anything?

Would a male sovereign be expected to hold the same line?

Blackmail/extortion is not a good look on them. Even if it were true, then they should have walked away instead of staying royals and simply told the world. They're only walking away from the responsibilities, not the privileges afforded by such a supposedly racist/sexist institution.

I'm pretty sure what went down.

Harry said, hey, I've got a great new girlfriend from nowhere! I'm going to marry her!

Royals: err...wait, who? Wow. A girl totally different from any girl you've ever shown interest before (not your typical blond aristocratic boozy partier). Are you sure this is really it? The woman for life? Take your time, don't rush, being royal isn't for everyone, she needs to get to know what the role is like. Look at how Kate waited ten years. We don't want a disastrous divorce because she can't handle it. It's insane pressure being royal.

Meghan to Harry: they don't like me! they're trying to drive us apart! They're racist! They can only be racist! It can't ever be anything about me because I'm perfect!

Harry: you're trying to drive me away from my future wife! You're not supporting me!

Yep. That's what happened.
