I'm no MM superfan but a long shot, like I just sort of don't care one way or another, but certainly I wish them the best. I don't get the hate at all. What is the factual basis for the assertions that she's manipulative? I've looked at this thread off and on and never seen anything substantive to make me believe that. Strikes me as lots of baseless (and oddly committed) opinions.

DP. You are right but MMs obsessed devoted haters will attack you for saying that.

NP, yep. I have no particular interest in Meghan (never watched Suits, for one thing) or Harry, but so much weird projecting and collective myth-building seems to go into the MM hatred. Like on Twitter poster decides that she’s manipulative because of X fact, and that becomes the story.

Oh right - they upstaged...a baby's name. I'm sure Eugenie and Jack (that's his name btw) don't mind. They're staying at the Sussexs house after all. Best new baby gift ever for a pair of parents without their own place.

I don’t understand why they haven’t announced the name yet. They should announce the name when they announce the birth.

Fergie wants to announce it with pictures of her and hopefully selling an exclusive. Maybe even somehow bring disgraced Andrew into it.

😂Fergie cracks me up. Andrew and Fergie are so messy (to say the least) and people are out here sooo mad at Meghan and Harry.

France is all over this. I love how they've queued up intro music and the way she's says 'Meghhhhhhann Markle' almost like its a title.

Agree. It's really weird how much you want to bring down another woman.

Did you see her Youtube channel? She looks like a addict living in a trailer. Freeloading in a 30-room palace paid for by the royals while divorced. Now that is brilliant grifting.

They upstaged the parents and the attention they would have gotten. Meghan and Harry cant stand if the focus is not on them. Just like they did at their wedding.

You cannot upstage people that no one actually cares about. The attention they got was always second rate and filler bc they are boring.

That was not my point. Since they are "more popular" than they should have been graceful and let Eugenie and Jack have the spotlight for a week at least! But, this isn't the first time Meghan ( and Harry) have upstaged other members. Remember Camilla was going to make a major speech and Meghan put her story on the Royal Instagram?

And I think you are wrong that 'nobody' cares. Sure if it was your regular woman in London who gave birth but, Eugenie is also the granddaughter of the Queen which is why they made the announcement and the press took their pictures. So people care ( maybe not you)

I'm sure if you got married and a family member of yours whom everyone loved announced their pregnancy at your wedding ( taking the focus off you) and then when you had your first child made the another announcement that had people in your family ignoring you than you would be on her complaining!

If Eugenie was as popular as you want to claim then no one could steal her thunder.

Absolutely not would I come here to complain. It takes a certain type of poster to complain on DCUM. I’ll complain right to your face and call your bullsh*t out.

Exactly 👏👏👏

Striver, climber, manipulative...that’s Fergie and based on another post, she pushing that for Eugenie.

I will never understand how these people are so important. The British royalty thing is so archaic. Why are they even still there?

Where did I say they were as popular? I didnt. But Harry could have been more respectful since he grew up with his cousin and he knows how it feels to be overshadowed. It would have been nice of M and H to hold off on their news so others could shine.

Maybe you dont care but surely there are a few curious people in the UK ? And just because you wouldnt complain misses the point entirely...again!

That's what celebrities do. Also what royals do. It's basically their job.

They wanted to announce on Valentine's Day because that's when Diana announced her pregnancy with Harry. Hard to fault them for that. They probably had that planned for a long time.

Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if much of the BRF is happy to have anything overshadow Andrew and his progeny.

That's actually pretty nutty. And creepy.

Poor baby. Poor Archie (Archewell?) and Baby.
