As an aside, the documentary, Mitt, is really good. The filmmaker had wide access to Romney, his family, and campaign.

Rumor had it that Mitt Romney was so confident he didn’t even prepare a concession speech. That was also the moment Trump decided to run for the job.

I remember that too. Their internal polling showed him winning basically every swing state. Yeahhhhhh .....
