No.
Last year at least at girls literally no one watched for our 3 age groupings. No joke. No one was watching. |
| And to add, this was very different from other clubs where coaches had numbers and clipboards and ran up and down in the scrimmages to take notes! |
Unfortunately, I am not surprised to hear this. My experience has been similar, long stretches of play on fields where no coach is watching during tryouts. My kid's team added more than five new players last season and I don't think any were at the "try-out" that I attended. |
Yes. That is how tryouts work nowadays. It is online vs brick and mortar stores. Soon there will be online tryouts if they are not already happening. |
| Yep. They will also rate the kids by their parent-run Instagram accounts. No need to see them on the field ha |
which 3 age groups are you referring to? |

3 Days to Register for Martin Clinic!!! BSC Indoor Facility
Parents, Block #6 starts this Friday 3/20 5-6:30PM at BSC Indoor Facility. Train with Top A1 Coach Tyler Martin. Prepare for upcoming tryouts. |
| The SYC parents over at FVU need to let this thread go…. |
never!!! Not until more FVU players join BSC. No complaints across the water thus far |
is this supposed to be advertising or some sort of a dig? |
Advertising by the coach of the 2015 Powerhouse A1 boys. |
Anybody have any thoughts on this training, I heard very good things about BSC's Ekkono, so am curious if this is actually good training - for a younger girl. |
I will say that the Ekkono method has been pretty successful at BSC. It is still growing and becoming the staple philosophy through out the club. The club has completely embraced it now and required at training including the younger girls. |
What 3 age groups are you referring to? |
That's what I have heard/seen too, but I was curious about the Martin Clinic |
