Curious why this still seems to be such a theme. Robo is averaging almost 15 goals a game in their past 6 and much more battle tested with a far superior schedule. Indy's defense and Robo's offense may both be underrated, this would be a great game. I’m not buying Robo offense until they play somebody with solid defense. Madison and Severna Park exposed them. It’ll be more of the same when the games matter. |

Who have they put up big numbers against? |

Madison has played some great defenses so I take nothing away from those teams, but probably won’t put up huge numbers on anybody because the coaches are very focused on development so get underclassmen 2s and 3s into the game as early as possible to get them reps. |

Relative to the top level of teams: Robinson’s offense looks very good and efficient against strong competition, but it is not the most explosive unit in this group. It profiles more like a balanced top-tier offense on an elite overall team than a pure run-you-off-the-field attack. |

Quickly threw together an opponent-adjusted offensive rating:
Independence — 17.66 Yorktown — 13.55 Battlefield — 13.12 Robinson — 13.01 Chantilly — 12.37 Madison — 11.50 Oakton — 9.22 Shorthand from this version of the model: Elite scoring case: Independence Very strong: Yorktown, Battlefield, Robinson Solid but less explosive: Chantilly, Madison More grindy: Oakton |

YT has the best offense. Then Battlefield, Indy, and Madison. Then Oakton, Robo, Chantilly. Robo has the best defense. Then Indy, Battlefield, Madison. Then Oakton, YT, Chantilly. FOGO/Goalie toss-up between Robo, Battlefield, Madison. This is Indy’s achilles but the LSMs make up for it. This, plus defense is also what’s hurting YT. |
| What elite defenses has Madison played other than Robinson and Stab? |
I would say Indy clearly has the best offense and Robo clearly has the best defense |
Indy scores because of defense and LSM play. YT scores in spite of defense. Agree, Robo has the edge on defense but Indy is really really close. |

I feel like this is not a question, Robo has the best defense, Goalie, and FO play in the state. There offense has been better and is still in my opinion a top 5.
Independence has the best offense by a mile. Simple as that. |
| looks like it could be a best defense vs. best offense in the state to claim the title. that would be fun to watch. |
