My short 10.5 year old DD wears a size 2. There are girls in her 5th grade class who are already in women’s 9 and up. |
That is small. My 6 yo girl is in a 3.5!! |
Yup. My fourth grader is in a women’s size 9. |
My DD must have TINY feet, then! She’s almost 6 and wears an 11. |

I have an 8 year old girl who is in a 5. Her feet are pretty big among her friends, they’re typically in 2-3. There seems to be a big range of shoe sizes at every age, my 5 year old is only in a 9 toddler shoe when most of her friends are in 12-13.

| My 9 yr old is a size 2.5. He's average for height and weight. |
PP here. I’m surprised, I guess. She does have a pretty narrow foot, and she just turned 7 this fall, but didn’t think her feet were super small. Her height tends to be around 80-85th percentile. I may take a peek at her friends’ feet next time I do pickup, lol. |
| My 8 year old son wears size 6 (38 European). That's much bigger than his dad's. - I wear size 4 (35 European), since I was 10 years old. |
| 13 |
| My very tall 8 year old wears size 3.5. He is similar to my husband and I in that our shoe size is not as big as most people our height. I am personally glad about that because it means we can always find shoes in our sizes. They are still in the standard range and not “special” sizes. This was of course a much bigger deal before online shopping. |

| My eight year old girls wears women size 8. She is almost 5 feet tall. |

I’ve been part of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade cleat exchange recently. My 7 yo DD is on the smaller side of the group- kids’ size 12. The biggest kid is 8 yo, 5’4” and wears a mens’ size 7.
The variety of sizes between age 6-9 is crazy! |
And my very tall and big 6yo is only a 13! She's 90% in height and weight but apparently smaller than average feet. |
| My 8yo son wears a men's size 9 and he is about 5"2 |
