Wait, what? My 7yo girl is tall but wears a 13.5-1. Didn’t think her feet were particularly small..

Yeah, he is a giant and 52 inches tall.

Size 1 is small for a 7 year old girl. My tall DD is 7 and wears a 4.5.

PP here. I’m surprised, I guess. She does have a pretty narrow foot, and she just turned 7 this fall, but didn’t think her feet were super small. Her height tends to be around 80-85th percentile. I may take a peek at her friends’ feet next time I do pickup, lol.

My 8 year old son wears size 6 (38 European). That's much bigger than his dad's. - I wear size 4 (35 European), since I was 10 years old.

My very tall 8 year old wears size 3.5. He is similar to my husband and I in that our shoe size is not as big as most people our height. I am personally glad about that because it means we can always find shoes in our sizes. They are still in the standard range and not “special” sizes. This was of course a much bigger deal before online shopping.

I was trying to share his shoes with a same aged friend and just assumed all kids his age were wearing size six, but they were in a 3.

I’ve been part of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade cleat exchange recently. My 7 yo DD is on the smaller side of the group- kids’ size 12. The biggest kid is 8 yo, 5’4” and wears a mens’ size 7.

The variety of sizes between age 6-9 is crazy!

That is small. My 6 yo girl is in a 3.5!!

And my very tall and big 6yo is only a 13! She's 90% in height and weight but apparently smaller than average feet.

My 8yo son wears a men's size 9 and he is about 5"2

Height and shoe sizes are not correlated. I'm 5'7 and wear an Euro 37, around 6.5 US and my MIL is 5'3 and wears a 9. My teenage son is 6'2 and wears men 13 and my brother is 6'4 and wears 11.

You’re right to be grateful. Our tall kids wear men’s 14, women’s 11, and the 8 year old is size 5. He’s the only one we can reliably find shoes in-store at this point. It’s a pain.

My 8 year old wears 13.5, I'm a grown women and wear size 6.5/7. I think we just have smaller feet in the family.

I'm shocked by all of these 8 year olds that are over 5 feet tall already... my 8.5 year old is around 4'8" and in the 97th percentile for height. There are a few other kids that are around his height, but none that are noticeably taller. Where are PP's posting from with all of these >100% height kids??

3.5-4 for my 8.5yo.
