Oh that’s funny. I have two of those. Purchased for the last bat mitzvah I went to a few years ago. I’m over them.

No. You didn't.

DP. Yes. We did. Run along.

No, you didn’t. You just don’t know it.

They had a moment (for some inexplicable reason), but yeah, that moment is very over.

Just no

What’s wrong with the first one? How old are you and do you belong to a country club?

NP here but they both look a little too casual for a "dressy daytime" event at a country club imo. I don't think they'd kick you out but I'd look for a little nicer fabric content or some embellishment to elevate them above a standard day dress. The first one is mostly rayon.

I belong to a well known DC area CC and this is similar to what women are wearing to events during the day. Country club "dressy" during the day has a certain feel and its not cocktail attire. *UNLESS* OP is attending a daytime wedding, then I agree its too casual. If OP is simply attending a ladies event in the part of the club that does not allow jeans, etc, then this is certainly fine. (with heels but no jean jacket.)

I'd wear something more like this but OP doesn't want to show arms

Oh, wait - are you the NYer who fancies herself a style maven?
