Need a dressy daytime dress for a party at a country club

Anonymous
Everything seems to be sleeveless, short/mini or maxi.

I’m short and not fat but my arms are jiggly and white. Help

Can you tell us more abut what you like/want as opposed to what you don't like?

-What is your size (height, weight, body type). Do you need a petite size?
-Can we assume you want a midi length?
-Do you prefer solid color or printed? Any colors you particularly like?
-you mention you want sleeves. Are cap sleeves ok? Tight sleeves?
-Budget?

I mean, you can't go wrong with the Somerset or any number of Somerset lookalikes.

Here are a couple of knee length options.

I like the second dress with the print for a daytime country club party.

I found a bunch of suitable dresses recently at Nordstrom Rack.

This in either color is a good blank slate to work from . . . sleeves are forgiving, as is the shift shape; linen blend is perfect for the season and daytime; can dress it up with accessories. It's short but not inappropriately so (the regular version will likely come to your knee if you're petite) . . .

. . .or if you prefer something midi with more waist definition, this can also work with the right accessories to dress it up a bit . . .

I’m 5’4” and slim but don’t love my upper arms. I might try a simple dress like this from COS: https://www.cos.com/en-us/women/womenswear/dresses/mididresses/product/sculpted-gathered-jersey-midi-dress-dark-blue-1339392001

I love this one and would wear to our CC.

Agree. And they are so recognizable at this point that they scream "cheap Anthro because I have no style."
