By definition, pretty much any kid that burns down a shed and writes this kind of graffiti has mental health issues. This seems like a cry for help from someone who is pretty messed up. It’s sad it’s a kid. |

Other juvenile's are posted and listed as "juvenile". There are no juvenile's listed for 4/15, however there are several on 4/14. I don't think any are this person because the address are in Germantown. |

I mean, this kid terrorized an elementary school, frightened kids and parents, and committed arson. I think it's reasonable that the community is curious. |

No, he needs a lot more than that. He might need inpatient care, and/or medication, and/or a different home situation. Maybe none of that would help. None of us know. But I think it’s clear that he didn’t do this for personal gain (like robbing a jewelry store) or for any rational reason (like getting out of a test). He did it because he’s messed up. I live nearby and had told my kids not to go to the park adjacent to the school, even when I thought it was an adult, because I assumed it was a mentally ill person stalking the school. |

In other states and jurisdictions one would not have to comb and scan. It would make the news, photos and all, of the alleged perp(s). This jurisdiction, and much of MD, hides this information from the public. |

That press release was before an arrest was made. It’s now known quite a bit about the student and where he is presently. |
