And pp here. I was a basketball parent also that ran clock and kept box score. It was a volunteer job. So make it a swim volunteer job?

They already have them. The problem at Oakmont is nobody know how to operate it.

the county (taxes) paid for this board. If you think it’s okay to spend money on something that is useful but unused, sounds like you’re the one with the faulty thinking. Such a cliche for the county to have spent money on this thing that has one important purpose, and it sitting there last night unused.

These things are not rocket science. With a good SOP they wouldn’t have to rely on one person being there who knows how to use it.

Exactly! There is no reason this shouldn’t have been working! You don’t host a swim meet then not have the board working.

Exactly! There is no reason this shouldn’t have been working! You don’t host a swim meet then not have the board working.

Hopefully it’s a lessons learned and they having it working for the meet next weekend.
