Didn't see it covered on Fox News website. Just Kamala and such. |
You're giving his supporters the benefit of the doubt, and you shouldn't. MAGAats are happy when they see ridiculous statements from Trump - to them the entire "normal" international system is corrupt, and needs to be torn down. In fact, for them almost every institution deserves to be torn down except for the military, border patrol, and their own Church/neighborhood/family. It's an extreme form of nihilism, as they've stopped believing in the very concept of institutions larger than the tribal unit. |

Literally a child could do a better job as President.

But he's a brilliant salesman. He got millions of Americans to vote for him. He's now demented and declining, but even in his decline, his sales skills were working and he got votes.
He's not stupid. He's got a personality disorder that's worsening as his dementia gets worse. Usually people who get Alzheimers get nasty as their minds go. Most of those people don't have access to the nuclear codes, but this man does. Ask your GOP representatives to stop this madness. They hold the power to stop him. Why won't they do it? They are not all idiots. They can get other jobs if their supporters abandon them for doing the right thing and protecting our country from this monster in chief. |
| Why is the media giving Trump such a pass when they would relentlessly hammer Biden for even the most minor missteps? Any one of these recent incidents should have been a career-ended. |

This is what he texted to the PM of Norway over the weekend. republicans in congress are letting him get away with turning the USA into the world’s laughing stock and pariah.

My dad had dementia. He was a very well-educated man, very smart and also wily. He was able to run a business well after he should have resigned, but there was no one to force him to quit because he owned the business.
Trump is like this. My dad's once-thriving business went into Chapter 7, sadly, and there was nothing his family could do because he could not see his decline and he would not quit. He got nasty and defensive and did weird stuff as his dementia worsened. But he got up every morning, got dressed, drove in to work every day, did normal stuff, and still spoke very well, very lucidly most of the time right until he passed away. He wasn't able to make good decisions, which is why his business fell to ruin. He had some great employees, but they all quit when he refused to let them take over. It's so, so sad for our family. But in Trump's case, it's our entire country that this intelligent, but demented man controls. We are in a very, very bad position right now. I'm doing what I can to prepare. Don't bury your heads in the sand. I've seen this before. The end is very ugly. |
Because billionaires bought out the media outlets. CBS, CNN, Washington Post? They don't care if he destroys the US if they can sell off the ashes. |
He has a cluster b personality disorder. He will only get worse. |
Trump is not intelligent. He’s shrewd and cunning, and is a masterful cult leader. But not smart. And here we are. |
They're afraid first and foremost for their personal safety and the safety of their loved ones and secondarily for being targeted by Trump either politically (losing their seat) or through the threat of investigations and the like. It's like the mafia. You can never leave your mafia clan or family. If you try, you will be killed. This is what MTG said in an interview: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: After President Trump called me a traitor, I got a pipe bomb threat on my house. And then I got several direct death threats on my son. Lesley Stahl: On your son? Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: On my son. Lesley Stahl: You say the president put your life in danger. You blame him. You say he "fueled a hot bed of threats against me" and that you blame him for the threats against your son. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: The subject line for the direct death threats on my son was his words. "Marjorie Traitor Greene." Those were death threats –- Lesley Stahl: So you do, you blame - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: – directly fueled by President Trump. And I told him. I told JD Vance. I told them all. Sent those directly to them. Lesley Stahl: And? Response? Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: JD Vance replied back to me, "We'll look into it." I got [a] response from President Trump that I will keep private, but it wasn't very nice. Lesley Stahl: Give us a hint of what the president said. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: It was extremely unkind. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/marjorie-taylor-greene-says-republicans-terrified-t |
| If the GOP representatives are such sniveling cowards then they should resign and let some courageous people take office. |
This! Trump's decline is accelerating before our eyes but so few can see it because he's still getting up every morning, putting on his suit, doing his makeup and hair, and going into the Oval Office and playing the role of president. |
He knows Norway isn't Denmark. But he is blaming Norway for not giving him enough rewards for being a good person, so he doesn't need to be a good person anymore. Like Brent Norwalk in the Good Place. Another way to think about is that, even on his lucid days, Trump uses language purely in service of his goals, and Truth is not one of his goals. He is a dealmaker / negotiator of the "car salesman" variety and he'll say anything to pressure people to go his way, and craft fictional rationalizations to put opponents on the back foot. He doesn't operate at the level of intellectual debate, he operates at the level of snarling and baring teeth and foaming mouth to scare people into submission. |
I mean why? If you are in on the graft, and resigning still carries risk (if they all start doing it Trump will realize its a revolt and the threats will still occur). Jan 6 was very effective |
