To cut out all GMOs entirely. Eat as many single ingredient foods as possible. Nothing with bioengineered ingredients. One of my main foci for 2026.

Sleep with a pregnant woman. Did it once before and it was amazing.

Get a personal trainer and focus on strength training. I've lost weight on a GLP1 and muscle loss is a real issue.

Work on the book I've wanted to write since I got my MFA over a decade ago.

Till and plant something in the garden. Moved into a home with a garden and greenhouse, and I'm enchanted ... but have I've never grown anything, let alone food in a garden. Trying to figure that out. Probably tomatoes, herbs, and something else? To start?

I did a thing a few years ago where I bought a water color type notebook and a set of fine point markers

And I practiced different types of handwriting by reminding myself of all the TV and cable and streaming shows I wanted to watch because every day you somehow forget

2 birds one stone type of thing

My new year's resolution is to have it not be 2025 anymore

Lose 20 pounds.
Walk an hour at least days a week unless it's icy footing.
Do my PF and neck exercises. Every day.
Clean up the heaps of EOBs and medical emails and insurance shit just all over my office. Even if it's just shoving it in a box. (Nightmarish insurance snafu resulting in endless EOBs and rebillings by providers, not our fault.)
Organize 2026 insurance stuff and file it from the get go
