Idling in the bus lane outside of school hours

the signs are obviously for the specific school, they arent going to print new signs that say "oh and also at 7:15 because this year, that's the pick up time from this place for this other magnet school". you're following the letter of the sign, I guess, but think of why the sign is there. it's so the buses can park safely and students can get on or off without having to weave in between cars or worry about cars pulling out and driving off while they are trying to walk towards the bus. it's for your kids safety. right?

OP here. Since the unanimous vote was for me being an a***, I actually went to the parking lot today and idled there while the other parents were in the bus lane, and my snowflake did walk in the rain.

You all changed one person's attitude towards this for the better.

I honestly can't stand people like you OP. There are so many entitled magnet parents at these bus stops acting like jerks. Do not block the bus lane ever. You can idle off to the side or park in the parking lot. Why is there an issue parking if you're coming before or after elementary school hours?

Early in the morning the school lot is empty so people just pull into the bus lane. No, most parents wait until bus shows and it gets cold in the morning
