Nice try but DOGE and MAGA care zero about specialized expertise. This is either some sort of politically protected position or an acknowledgment that agencies actually need staff.

This doesn’t mean they are hiring. This means internal transfers and promotions of people already working there.

The only people coming from the outside are political appointees heading up divisions/offices, which happens with every election whether or not there is a change to the political party in the White House.
