How long does your kid shower for? My son is 20 +minutes!

30-40 minutes but they are girls and both girly girls, I know my 17 yo doesn’t like any hair on her body…so it takes time.

Most boys are probably jerking off but isn’t that preferable to unpleasant laundry sock surprises? Let it go.

Jesus, let him jerk off in the shower and leave him be. You f’ing moms are so uptight and annoying AF. Timing showers now? Better than the crunchy socks

I will add that it’s ok to holler at him to get out. We only have 2 bathrooms for 4 people so I’ll tell my kids to hurry up.

Please do not give your kid a mental complex. Just let him be him.

Eventually they run out of hot water.

So intrigued to see so many people mention ADHD here.

My teen girls do this too. Drives me crazy. They claim it’s for all their skin and hair care products. It’s a fight I have stopped picking.

I just can't believe that so many people responded seriously to this.

We’ve had issues with mildew, paint peeling, cabinets and doors peeling and the bathroom actually falling apart. Both DD and DS can easily spend 30+ min in the shower. We’ve tried installing better fans, reminding them to put on the fan, asking them to not take as long but nothing seems to work. DH yells a lot about the state of the bathroom. I get aggravated too. One is leaving for college in a year and we will remodel when they both go to college.

So no real good advice here.

This has to be a troll.

He’s jerking it nice and slowly

Assuming you meant to say "a day" instead of a week?

It’s a known “thing”

5 minutes max. He has no stress in his life. He lucky I don't make him turn off the water, scrub, and then turn it back on.
Water is included in our rent, but I could lie to him.
My two boys know my old school/old country expectations. They are careful with money also.
We have a cousin who takes two hour showers. The parent thinks they just love long showers. Sure.
