Cur all alcohol and tobacco also.

OP, ask him for a facial. See if the volume changes.

Stop drinking alcohol. I haven’t had alcohol in like 10 years. Just had a SA done and my volume was 4.3 at 46yo. All other stats well above average also.

This post if nothing else, is an important reminder for every TTC couple to first rule out male-factor.

You have no way of knowing until you get him tested. You need to insist. This is often crucial information to have.

Good advice for everyone, though easier to follow in the pre-Sydney Sweeney era.

DH is apparently posting advice for his own situation.

Regardless of the benefits to DH, it would answer her question, wouldn’t it?

What? Seriously, what does this mean?

Is PP saying masturbate? We can say masturbate. Is PP insinuating a racial slur or other phrase we can’t use?

I’m not that old, just turned 32. My lifestyle isn’t the healthiest but I do exercise regularly and don’t smoke at all. I drink about a 6 pack of beer every weekend. Sleep schedule could be better. I eat mostly home cooked meals with daily vegetables, occasional restaurant or fast food place.

First, hydration is key. Next: cut out alcohol completely while TTC. These are the obvious ones.

Next, there is a supplemental combination some doctors recommend for this: take moderate amounts of zinc, pygeum, L-citrulline, and lecithin.

Drop all alcohol for now. Limit caffeine intake. Stay hydrated. Continue exercise, but do not do iron man or marathon training for now.

Also, have urologist check for a varicocele and fix soonest if you appear to have one.
