CVS new phone system!!!

Anonymous
It is awful to deal with leaving a message. PPS who are being jerks, they should have someone to answer the phone. It is a business. If you leave a message, you never know when you'll get a call back, and if you miss that call, oh well, back into the message hell.

Some of us need meds for our family members and spend a lot of time on BS.

OP, I'm transferring all my stuff back to Walgreens. GL

I have never been a Walmart shopper, but the customer service at their pharmacy is excellent. The phone makes you jump through hoops but you do get through.

Same - I’ve transferred several prescriptions to Walmart. CVS is making the process too complicated and frustrating.

Ditch CVS as much as you can. They only care about the stock.

CVS has LONG had potential conflicts of interest given that they serve as both PBM and a pharmacy. Go to your community pharmacy.

TLDR; What's wrong with you?

LOL I agree. OP strikes me at a 72 year old overweight, diabetic woman with short gray hair who can barely walk/move, and still drives everywhere at 10mph below the speed limit. They also HAVE to have the handicapped spot in the parking lot, and often use the scooters at the grocery store, blocking isles and making life more difficult and dangerous for the able-bodied.

Wow. I am not op and don't fit any of this criteria but your post is so offensive, sexist, ableist and disgusting. You are vile.

I see the CVS pharm tech is posting during the one hour they take off for lunch. Eff off.

You're seriously angry that workers actually get to take breaks and lunches? The employees at CVS are not slaves. Our whole medical system is at fault for this and the company itself. Instead you are going to go after an underpaid employee who gets treated like dirt on the bottom of people's shoes?

Who still uses cvs?!??? It takes 45 minutes to pick up a Rx and they don't answer the phones anymore they're pretty much non functioning.

Why break the pharmacy phone system, it was working just fine. 🥵Very unkind and inconsiderate to treat people this way.

Right. Because if someone gets sick it’s always their own fault, amirite? Kids and babies too.

DP but they can do what most businesses do- take turns having breaks. CVS has a staffing issue and I’m guessing it’s because of how they choose to treat and pay their employees.

Every time I went to CVS, it was like everyone was new. Without fail, there was one exhausted pharmacist who was struggling to seem like they weren’t burned out and two deer in the headlights techs who seemed to be in training - even months after being there.

They’ve over expanded and are in trouble now. Greed got to them.

Why does Walgreens always look dirty

What should I have done to not have Graves’ disease?

How should my husband have avoided MS?

How should my daughter have avoided ADHD?

Not OP. I am also not a fan of the new system, where you cannot reach a person and have to leave a message.

A member of our household takes a medication that has been part of a shortage for the last year or so. When we get the prescription, I have to call around to try and find it at a pharmacy. When CVS doesn't answer the phone, I now instead need to drive around, wait in line, and ask in person. And then on to the next location. Waiting for callbacks is not timely. (The CVS tech would not even call another CVS for me) Yes, we call about a dozen different pharmacies looking to fill. Others answer the phones, but usually do not have it in stock. (family members has been in this med for many years, it works, and does not want to start over trying others). The psychiatrist's office is not going to call place after place tracking down meds.
