I love to quick pickle thinly mandolins radishes and use them in salads. So good!

Pickled corn in salt brine is a favorite of mine as well.

+1 so sad. I purchased pickles from them every weekend when they were at the farmers markets. Was very surprised they closed.

I love any homemade non-dill with my fav being my grandmother’s from long ago. She and her sisters would get together every September and put up jar after jar. Sadly, their recipe and their seed bank died out years ago.

Commercially, though, I love Mt Olive Sweet Petites. They are not the sickening “sweet” you might think.

Yuck - they're sweet and disgusting in my opinion.

You never had my Aunt Ilene's bread and butter pickles. Not too sweet, heavenly!

My grandma had a recipe for sweet pickles made from storebought dill pickles. I haven’t made those in a while but I might!

OP if you find pickles too sour it doesn’t matter what anyone suggests. Either they’re not for you or you’re going to have to work up to eating them.
