I can't answer the money question because no one I know talks or thinks about relationships and money like the people here on dcum. Noone I know married for money or is gold digger.

However, I'm a short woman, 5 foot 3. I only dated, and married, a man well over 6 feet. At this age of my life, with wisdom and hindsight, I can tell you it's because I've always been a little bit heavy/overweight (15-20 pounds). And I never wanted to date a man who weighed less than I did or made me feel fat. That's my truth

I never had to think about height as I knew only one man barely shorter than I growing up in the old country. We are definitely in top 10 tallest nationalities.
The height need was never as pressing as the need for money as everything is expensive here.
Now that I have my own money, I can concentrate on finding love. The love of my life is 3 inches shorter than I. Normal height in his country for a man and normal height in my country for a woman.
I met so many losers when I was younger. The height and money were the least of the problems.

As you get older, you may think about having a family and if the guy can provide you with a nice home. 180k is rock bottom of even affording to buy a home at all. If you want a decent lifestyle, I would say minimum 300k, more like 500k, definitely not the 100k in the OP.

I am not so sure about the money. I am 5'10" and I was a "broke" musician when I met my wife. She is 5'8", who graduated from Ivy and works for Blackstone, with a trust fund on top of that. She told me that she was attracted to me because she found me to be, in her own words, "captivating", with "gravitas", and I am good-looking. She does not care if I am broke. My wife told me that I am much more interesting than all of her wealthy co-workers and that she won a lifetime lottery when she married me. I am a SAHM and I do nothing but taking our kids to school, go to the gym, pickup kids after school, teach my kids music, groceries shopping, etc... Women still hit me up from time to time at Whole Food. Women with money don't look for guys with money, they look for good-looking dudes who are captivating. YMMV.

dp.. she doesn't care if you're broke because she has her own money and comes from money, so that doesn't really count since the vast majority of women aren't in her position.

Women hit on you because you are good looking. They are looking for fun, not a partner to raise their children.

I want tall and successful kids so it makes sense to marry a tall and successful man. Our society gives subliminal advantages to tall people. That being said I make more money than my average height overweight slightly balding DH so it’s not like tall and rich are deal breakers.

Very good points. Most men are boring (me included) and the men with interesting things (such as musical talent) about them will always get ahead of the line.

That's why you see musicians, even when they are poor, or college athletes, always get ahead of the line.

Wrong again. Women with money always want to hook up with good-looking and interesting guys to have children with, even if those guys are broke. By the same token, as a guy, if you are good looking and interesting, you should look for women with funds.

I'm a 5'9 guy and I cared about height in that I wouldn't approach women who were taller than me. Fortunately that only ruled out a small fraction of possibilities. My wife is 5'3.

Money was never a factor for me.

Less than 15% of men are 6' tall. So women are stupid with their standards which they are "allowed" to have. Yet, if a man says she wants a women with C cups and not fat it's not "allowed". The hypocrisy.

Most men don’t. Just look at the size of the women that the “hottest” guys are dating. The average woman that these guys are dating are not “thin”.
