| Handsome. See James McAvoy. |
|
Handsome as long as you're at least 5"10".
Once you crest that height it's 100% the looks that matter. |
| Tall and basically attractive. I think too handsome (like too beautiful) can be tricky sometimes. |
There are very, very few men of any height as handsome as Tom Cruise. |
So you are saying handsome and tall? |
Yes. Which is bummer for us short people! Height is a concrete fact. Beauty depends on the observer. |
One is more objective than the other, but advancement over the years depends on a number of people and so the subjectivity of appearance gets averaged out. Signed, short and unattractive. |
| Tall. Any man can be handsome with good clothes, thin and good hair. |
| Team Tall. |
| Tall, dark and handsome are ideal, but if I had to pick one, tall is most important. Once I had a new boss walk in on day 1 and my first impression was how short he was (maybe 5'7'), I assume because it was so unusual. |
This. 100% |
| Tall |
Same. You get like 2 to 3 attractive points assigned to you automatically if you're a tall man. A 6'3 facial 6 is an 8ish. A 5'6 guy with a 10 face could only hope to be an 8. I don't make the rules, but that's how it seems to play out. |
| Average looking + tall beats out average height + handsome |
My 83 year old MIL thinks this, but I will never understand it. He’s not homely, and he’s an above-average actor in most of his roles, but he’s not very hot at all. |
