4 servings |
2 to 4, depending.
Ice cream is my favorite, and I’ve come close but never quite finished one in a single sitting. |
Like if I were eating it on my own? About a week. I overeat a lot, but not so much with ice cream. |
My DH eats in 2 sittings. I will take a bite here and there but since I cut my sugar consumption down a few years ago, it’s just always too sweet for me. I used to eat a pint in one sitting, maybe 1-2x/month. |
3 servings. That’s what Ben & Jerry’s says on the side and I try to stick to it. If you look at all the sugar - you’re done for the day in one serving. |
I’m overweight but I usually only eat a little ice cream at a time, so 5-6 servings over 1-2 weeks if I have any (and DH didn’t get into it). I only eat Ben & Jerry’s, usually Cherry Garcia. I’m more likely to eat a PB&J at midnight. |
Kind of like a bottle of wine. Two servings. One that is 2/3s of the container, and the the next night (or afternoon with ice cream) the rest. |
Like your husband, I make it last four servings. I have a serving every 3-4 days. I am trying to lose weight (20 lb down, 20 to go!) so I like to have an occasional treat, and I savor every bite. |
It depends on what it is! For some reason if ice cream has yummy bits in it, like those fudge fish in Phish Food, I can eat a pint in one day because I just get to into finding the chunks. But just plan coffee ice cream lasts me about a week. I don’t think about servings, just yummy bites when I’m in the mood. |
A month or so? |
Yes! I also hunt for the tasty bits and then polish off the container in one sitting. |
2-3 servings. I don’t share and eat it right out of the carton. |
Family of 4, it will stay in there for a couple weeks. |
2 servings, but it will take me a month or two to eat both servings. |
Months. When I crave ice cream it’s just a few spoonfuls. I wish there were a smaller portion. |
