Haagen-Dazs does have a tiny version -- a 3.6 oz. cup. It's usually on the very bottom row of the freezer with the 16 oz. pints above. |
It's basically a 'sharp' cheesecake ice cream. It's fantastic. |
No, no. No one cares about the flavor. I find it offensive that you literally throw away food because you “get bored.” |
I'm like this. I'd rather have wine and cheese, charcuterie, fries with aioli, chips, etc. All the salty fatty stuff. Sugar doesn't do much for me, so I rarely eat ice cream. Maybe a pint a year. |
A pint is 3 servings for me. |
Probably a year and I am overweight. I just do not like ice crram that much |
1-3 spoonfuls at a time, and maybe once a week, so months. I have three pints in my freezer right now and they have been in there since January, one is unopened. There are other unhealthy things I like to eat, and I do enjoy ice cream, but I just never want that much of it. I like it better in conjunction with other stuff (like on top of pie). |
For myself, it will take me a week or 2. For my dh, it will take him one sitting, that's about 10 minutes. You know who is more fit? Not me. |
At least a year. I am not an ice cream lover. I don't know why. I'm not shaming. I would love to love ice cream because I see how much people crave it; however, it leaves me cold (pun intended). |
+1 I microwave it for a few seconds |
Exactly this. Wine included. |

I'm fat but do not like ice cream, so it could sit in the fridge forever. |
I love ice cream, but tend to get my cravings for sweets in the afternoon when I'm at the office. In the evening I'm more drawn to salty snacks - cheese & crackers, nachos, salted nuts - and wine. For ice cream, I'm more likely to get a cone when I'm out with the family on weekends, than to eat any at home. So a pint of ice cream at home will last a long time, probably months.
My teenager DS, otoh, goes through half a gallon every week. But he also has 10-12 hours of sports practice every week. |
Not PP but it's smart to throw away something high calorie to avoid the bored temptation. If you are satisfied after a few bites, why be a glutton because you spent a few extra dollars on something? Do you always finish your morning latte or coffee if you're 'over it' towards the end? You never throw away the last slice or two of pizza? Same difference. |
