Pretty sure it's because TKS thinks its audience is dumb.

Except they have already said that they can't talk about what happened to Danni, that was their way of 'addressing' it. This is comparing apples to oranges, the situations are completely different.

OP: Just like Mel left the show because Kane didn't pay enough attention to her? I'm sorry/not sorry - comments like yours proves my point.

Yeah it's been posted several times on the thread. Someone always freaks out that it's posted.

Why do you need to know? So you can google and stalk her at her home? Her personal info doesn't matter. Stick to TKS people!

In addition, that question was answered multiple times in all the "parts" to this soap opera. It is comical that people will finish 300 page books within a day, but they won't take the time to read the entire story that has been presented here.

It's Danielle Epps.

TLC will be done with Danni soon. They wanted her for TKS growing national syndication and now that's gone.

If they wanted somebody on a nationally syndicated show why not pick someone from Elvis Duran? That show is more popular/widely syndicated than Kane.

I think Danni actively seeked out trying to get on the network. TLC used to have a link on the main page basically letting any one apply. Not sure if they still do. Nonetheless, they probably did find her potentially attractive due to the Kane show's syndication and the fact that TLC/Discovery studios are in Maryland.

I don't even listen to the show anymore, and I was never under the impression that the excuse they gave for Mel leaving wasn't a load of bullshit, so please don't rope me in to your "TKS audience is dumb" category, but at the end of the day, Mel did leave on her own accord, she has said that she put her notice in. Danni had just re-signed her contract, so she obviously didn't want to leave the show, she was most likely let go, and in those cases, the situation is way more complicated. Would I have handled it differently if I were in the show's shoes? Absolutely. I would hate to be getting questions on every single post I make saying, "Where's Danni?" "Why haven't you addressed Danni leaving?" "Are you ever going to talk about Danni?", how irritating would that be? If the way they are all handling this was their choice, then by all means, yes, they are a bunch of morons, but I'm more inclined to believe that they wouldn't willingly put themselves into this kind of situation.

Have you tried to PM her and tell her that? Maybe she would like the advice. She's human like anyone else and acts out and makes mistakes too.

Kane's livelihood on the radio is determined by ratings. I doubt TLC can get rating information on Danni's infomercials so their only way of determining her success is through viewer feedback.?

I'm interested to know what people wrote to TLC. Did they write and complain about her taking too many selfies? Or, because she bascially said she would have never slept with her old boss on facebook? Wait, or did they write that she's the breadwinner of her family, and went to London while her kids went to St. Lucia with their dad? Is she an awful mom, or a vile person? It's just so stupid. You people don't have anything to complain about really except what she posts on her personal social media page....a page that people on here basically stalk. I'm sure TLC has gotten hate mail about people on all of their shows, why would people writing in, complaining about her social media presence make that much of a difference to them?

So, can we move on? What's the new topic for today? Mel at Disneyland, or Natasha with no job, Sarah and her hair? Why don't we discuss IJ's girlfriend Laura. I don't think we've had a chance to bash her yet. Let's get to it!

Disneyworld for Mel, get it right!

I don't disagree with your assessment, but I tend to disagree on how she uses her facebook page. She does or at least did have a her own personal facebook page under her real name. I would think it would be better for her to use that personal page as her sounding board for such nonsense as sleeping with cohosts, and focus the page that most people know her by (i.e. her public persona Danni Starr) to project a more positive image. That is why I have mentioned in the past about rebranding herself.

Right now if someone random person in Phoenix sees her on a TLC infomercial, and thinks "I wonder who that is", and looks her up on Facebook, would TLC or Danni herself really want the person's first opinion to be that some ex-cohost of her's isn't good enough to sleep with her?

TLC isn't going to fire her over a few people writing in nor do they really have any reason to do so. Nonetheless, my hope would be that someone at maybe TLC can break through to her and encourage her to refocus her social media in a light more streamlined with the network's vision. Between her posts on what she is doing on TLC MeNow, there is so much tawdry stuff about men wanting her in Europe and the other ridiculous comments that I don't think they would want discussed or as a representation of their network.

It's obvious that she is not going to get a reality check from any of her fan army on Facebook, and any one that does try to offer advice is either ignored or called out so that others can load on in shaming them as well. I think there were some on here a few months back that took credit when Danni was let go from TKS.

She definitely was not let go because of people on here pointing out faults, but what I believe it does do is solidifies to management who may be reading this thread or others that many people have the same thoughts that they do (for example, she shows up late too often, she is way too argumentative and has to be always right). I doubt any one from TLC is reviewing this thread like those from TKS have/were, so a few viewers writing to TLC may end up helping her and her career in the long run.

Thank you for phrasing this in such a respectful way. This is constructive feedback that Danni could actually use should someone phrase it to her like this.

Is Danni still the "breadwinner"?

That's not even remotely the same thing. Liking a random post about not listening to the show is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Taking the time to write a email and send it to them takes a lot more effort and is more thought out. The email is something they'll see, but whether the acknowledge it or not is anybody's guess.
