Interesting development… does this put PVI back in the hunt?

Where is the True poster? He should be on here providing some insightful commentary on what happened. Let me guess, the coaching was not good or was the program not living up to expectations?…..Give me minute while I get my popcorn ready.

I guess this was directed at me (maybe?) but i can certainly comment.

First, I don't think any parents at the youth level complained in the least about the results from the weekend. HS parents might be a different animal. The HS part of the program is at a different development stage than youth. True NOVA's best teams are at the youth level - basically 27 and down. The HS is still the remanent of NOVA Select and it never had top kids. NS was always late in line for players. This is less true at the youth level. At the HS level, kids tend not to move unless they or their parents aren't really, really unhappy. At HS, you are more likely (but not never) to stay at the same place for recruiting purposes and the like. At the youth level, it is a different story. You are more likely to move to help set up your growth as a player and find the right program.

Second, this is fall lacrosse. You never know who you are missing in a specific game. My son missed one Saturday game because he was playing other sports. True has generally taken a view that our players can play multiple sports and that fall sports take precedent over fall lax. This is accurate for all fall lax teams not just True.

Third, even with HS results not being ideal. It was a definite step up in talent than what True NOVA HS teams played in the past. Past years, those would be woodshed events if they played a team like Team 91 Carolina. You only get better playing better competition. Most HS scores were respectable though not all of them.

Such a weak reply.

True posters just take your “up and coming mediocre teams” dreams on your thread.

Your HS and youth teams (2032-2029) are all weak.

Why is the 29 VLC team in the B bracket at the Chrome Classic?

And the 30s in the B bracket at Fall Brawl?

Maybe just start by telling us how awesome VLC is

So all bark and no bite. Slinging insults but nothing to back it up. We see you

29 AA VLC team (old B team) just beat True Baltimore Green, a good AA team. The 30 team is at least a solid AA team, way better than the True Black team.

What’s the problem?

And VLC 2031 and 2032 are much better than the True teams too.
