Was Taft missing any D1 commits from their impressive list Friday night?

No and Taft just lost 9-8 to a very good Haverford team.

Haverford team that crushed Mcdonogh. I’d say the St. John’s win is pretty good. Better win than anyone in the DMV has this season.

Looks like the SJC boosters are back on this site.

The 19-6 ass handling by Culver is also the worst loss suffered by anyone in the DMV this spring

Similar to the last game Prep had against St. John’s. Never forget

Good Counsel over DeMatha by 3 - 4 goals

No way GC wins over DM. Penn State attack is the best attackman in the country right now. No one can cover him and he will lead DM to victory with at least 5 goals!

No school should be in the rankings if they have a losing record (GZ, SJC). Doesn't matter if public/private, conference and or strength of schedule. They are losers! A 500 team (STA) should not be in the top 10 and if you want to give rankings out and include 20 schools. Then teams at or below 500 should be in the bottom half of the top 10 or 11-20. The current loser teams like GZ and SJC will head back up the rankings in the end just on strength of schedule but also on results. GZ one goal lost to Culver a good game and SJC win over Taft come into play but not Top 10 worthy at this time.

Records do not make the team. The quality of the team and the quality of the opponents are what they use to identify who is ranked higher. Realistically, rankings are useless.

There is not one person who knows lacrosse in the DMV area that thinks Good Counsel is a higher ranked team or better than Gonzaga or St John's.

Obviously you are new here. You have to be a GC dad. I know winning is new to you but let’s be real. Gonzaga and St. John’s are going to crush GC.

Big game tonight in Potomac Md between St Paul’s from the MIAA and Bullis.

I think Bullis wins 12-8

Wrong, but the head to heads will take care of it.

St johns can play a team of only sophomores and still beat good counsel. Dane Smith is a great recruiter yet a real average coach.

No one thinks that St Albans is better than GZ and SJC. These are rankings….not standings. Rankings are how good someone thinks teams are in relation to others. Standings are where they are with their record.
