DMV Top 5 After Results from the past week
1. Bullis (6-0) 2. Landon (5-2) 3. Georgetown Prep (4-2) 4. Gonzaga (2-4) 5. SJC (1-3) The degree of separation between the top 4 on this list is very thin. |
Was Taft missing any D1 commits from their impressive list Friday night? |
Only an excuse. St. John’s wanted it more. |
No and Taft just lost 9-8 to a very good Haverford team. |
| It’s not as tight as you think between those top 4 DMV teams you listed…you’ll see. Haha! If you know, you know! |
Ok….. |
Enlighten us. |
Based on results, games against common opponents etc etc. I think on any given day, Landon, Bullis and GP can likely beat one another. Gonzaga is very inconsistent - loses to an elite Culver squad by one score (given I believe it was Culver's 3rd game in 4 days) but also lost to Saint Mary's from Annapolis by 4. |
| Predictions for DeMatha at good counsel Wednesday at 6:15. I can’t wait to see this “Cleveland steamer” offense dematha comes out in. |
| Good Counsel over DeMatha by 3 - 4 goals |
Haverford team that crushed Mcdonogh. I’d say the St. John’s win is pretty good. Better win than anyone in the DMV has this season. |
Comical |
Looks like the SJC boosters are back on this site. The 19-6 ass handling by Culver is also the worst loss suffered by anyone in the DMV this spring |
As a consistent SJC booster, alum, etc, sure, Culver was a bad loss. Team looked terrible. They looked much better against Taft. Am I ready to say they will roll undefeated to the WCAC title? No. Alot of games left and the next one against St. Anthony's up in PA at Drexel might be the hardest game of the year. |
