We couldn't take a honeymoon after our wedding because of work and grad school schedules. We did a weekend on ten Chesapeake bay. Now, 3 years later, we are doing 2.5 weeks in Bali in August.

Bora Bora. Two weeks. I wish we had done a week in Bora Bora and split the other week between a couple other Tahitian islands.

No honeymoon but we bought a house 2 weeks later and had too many family commitments. 2 years later we still talk about plannimg something! We have traveled since but it is attached to family or work. I do regret not doind a weekend right away but my niece graduated from the af academy a few days after the wedding so we didn't have time.

Right away: no real time off, so 2.5 day long weekend at the Homestead.

10 months later between jobs: 7.5 weeks in Eastern Europe.

Woah! 7.5 weeks! I think that's the longest honeymoon I've heard of.

Us, too! Around Thanksgiving. Would not recommend going to Ireland that time of year.

2.5 weeks. Family lives in Caribbean, wedding was there so the beach vacation never seems that thrilling. Flew from there for 2 days in Venezuela (husband speaks no Spanish and feared for his life every minute). Escaped alive and spent 8 days in bariloche Argentina skiing in August (always a dream of mine). Then a week in rio de janeiro. Back to family home in caribbean for another week (never count as vacation). Very lucky that DH was able to take a full month off (still answering emails a few times a week).
