| 3 weeks in Turkey, immediately after wedding |
| A week in San Francisco. We had so much fun. |
| two weeks in Italy |
Oh P6, every time you post, I envy your life! |
| Drove to Cape Cod for a week in a small cottage. Not luxurious but it fit our personalities and was affordable. |
| 3 weeks in Europe. Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, Croatia, Greece. |
| Didn't take one because of grad school commitments. Still haven't taken one 10y later (now because of finances and 2 kids!) |
| Nassau, Bahamas. Husband booked it through American Express travel before the Internet. It was lots of fun, but the hotel was kind of a dump and the swimming pool was out of commission. |
| 2 weeks in Madagascar three months after the wedding. |

We used a two week vacation to get have the wedding and left on our honeymoon the Monday after. 6 nights with a view of the Pitons in St. Lucia. Jazz festival, a lot of snorkeling, visiting botanical gardens, waterfalls and bar hopping small resorts. We never even made it up to Pigeon Point beach!

Don't put off your homeymoon unless you have absolutely nothing left. Use frequent flier miles and put it on a card.
Had two different couple I know sell one of their homes when they married and use some of the money to take a round-the-world trip (6 months+) THAT's how to have a honeymoon! Now several years later one of the brides died young of breast cancer and the other is a mommy with another on the way. Regret nothing. |

We went to Roatan for 10 days. Had a gorgeous room where the sun rose over the water and set over the water. Went diving and drank terrible beer and ate fish and breakfast tipico and haggled for water taxis. Rode a scooter everywhere and got bitten to hell by sand fleas.
The kid came 9 months later. What a great time! |
| Fiji, for a week. It was a long way to go for scuba diving. If I had to do it again, I would have just done someplace in the Carribean. |
| We will be taking ours in September - 6 days in Switzerland and 8 days in France. Can't wait. |
| A week in Martha's Vineyard. |
