It's truly heartbreaking.

My heart has turned to stone when it comes to any Jews, wherever located, who support the depraved Israeli government. Whenever they die, under any circumstances, I will feign sympathy, but in fact only think of Izzedin and wish they could have died earlier so perhaps his life could have been spared.

How about when Hamas kills its own Palestinians who were approaching an aid truck with food on it. They shot the boy to prevent him from reaching the aid so they could take it themselves.

Outraged about that? Or only at Jews?

I’m a DP, but this is a great example of something I do not get.

Why are you unable to look at tragedy and call it tragedy? What would it harm you to admit something terrible is happening?

Most people who want a ceasefire in Gaza also mourned the loss of Israeli, Thai, Bedouin and other lives on October 7. Why are Israel’s supporters incapable of seeing any other life as having equal meaning? It baffles me.

Simple,

With Hamas staying in power, there Will be future attacks like 10/7 on Israelis. They will happen over and over again. Leaving Hamas in power guarantees that.

Also leaving Hamas in power also is detrimental to the typical Gaza resident. All aid, food, construction materials go to build rockets and concrete tunnels, rather than schools and hospitals. If you speak up against Hamas, you will be murdered. Hamas is also holding the Palestinians hostage in yet another way.

No peace without Hamas gone. Even Egypt just brokered a deal that Hamas rejected. The deal was there was a permanent ceasefire if Hamas leaves Gaza and allows UN to run area. Israel would stop war and Hamas would need to release prisoners.

Hamas rejected the deal to keep fighting and keep power. They don’t give a darn about the typical Gaza resident. They are using them as human shields.

And since Hamas doesn’t care about civilians deaths, we should all follow their example? Weird take.

Israel, the land where you can be detained indefinitely for thought crimes (but only if you're not Jewish), for the simple fact of not being Jewish, or for not being outspoken enough in denouncing Hamas. Also, the country where people from Russian and Ukraine tell Americans that they should be subject to prosecution in the U.S. court system for criticizing the actions of the IDF!

What a country!

You have clearly never been. In the words of a great comedian, I would rather be getting head in Tel Aviv, than getting head blown off in Gaza.

I'm sure Israel can think of a different strategy to nuetralize Hamas that doesn't require blowing up their human shields.

Wouldn't that make ordinary Palestinians hostages?

Oh I have more great news for you! The UN Security Council called for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages held by Hamas— in November! Please enjoy reading UNSC resolution 2712, which the United States abstained from.

So why didn't the Obamas do the decent thing?

You have guidance for Israel--what guidance do you have for Hamas.
I've noticed this, everyone loves to critique (the new word du jour) Israel, but I don't hear lots of critiques for Hamas.

People keep saying— and you keep ignoring— Hamas is a terrorist organization as listed by the U.S and EU. No one supports them.

Israel is a member of the UN general assembly. They get vast financial support from the United States. As the recipients of U.S tax dollars, they very appropriately get to receive judgement about how that money is spent. When they return the tens of billions they have received, they can reasonably ask U.S. citizens to butt out.

And what was the Israeli response? You say this was brokered by Egypt but that is not true. It was merely a proposal. And never accepted by Israel.

you support Hamas by not calling for them to stop what they are doing. Can't convince anyone otherwise.

Lol ok internet crazy man. If Hamas calls to ask what I think, I will tell them to release the hostages and turn over the members of their leadership responsible for 10/7 to international forces to be tried at the ICC for crimes against humanity. And if anyone ever suggests spending billions of U.S taxpayer dollars to arm Hamas, I won’t vote for them.

Why should they? Obama hates Netanyahu. Netanyahu is the reason Israel is so hated right now and isn’t getting the empathy it deserves for 10/7. Trump and Obama and Hillary all detest him. He’s not liked by most world leaders or even his own Cabinet in Israel. It says something when even a psycho like MBS has more friends than Israel. He’s isolated everybody he could and is as weak as Mahmoud Abbas on the world stage. Biden doesn’t really like Netanyahu either and prior to 10/7, their relationship was frigid . He just is doing lip service to win re-election and helping Israel out of responsibility not from pure love. Had any other leader been In charge, he would’ve sent more troops to help Israel but he knows Netanyahu won’t be thankful for it.

Recently referenced was the over 8,000 hostages currently in Israeli detention, held for months and years without charges filed. Can we include them in the plea for release?

These are not hostages you imbecile. They are criminals that are jailed.

10 year olds are criminals ?

Many of the Palestinians weren’t even charged for any crime by Israel. It is so smart for a country to put random citizens in jail with actual criminals /failed terrorists though. That wouldn’t radicalize them at all of course.
