Do your kids LOVE pizza?

I work fairly hard to plan healthy, delicious, and unique meals. I enjoy cooking so its not something that stresses me out, but it is time consuming. However, I can't get over how much my kids love love love pizza. Take out pizza is the end all be all to them and no meal will ever top it. I remember liking pizza as a kid but it seems mine specifically die for it. We order it about 2x a month but add in playdates and birthday parties they have it at least one a week. I don't particularly mind I just find it ironic how a large cheese pizza is my kids currency. Anyone else?

Yup, my 4 year old LOVES pizza! The odd thing is he hates cheese. When I try to give him another meal with cheese in it or on it he says, "Yuck I don't like cheese." When I ask him about the cheese on his pizza he says, "I like that cheese, because it's on a pizza." hmm.......

Yup, and Ledo's is the bomb to them. Probably the sugar in the sauce.

Yes. My 4 year old ate HALF of a papa johns large pizza last week (along with a big bowl of cut up fruit and cucumbers). I kept waiting for his stomach to split. He even asked for more.

Yep. My 3 year old basically subsists on nothing but fruit and cheese. Almost anything else offered to her goes untouched... except pizza. She LOVES pizza.

I'm probably alone here, but my 3yo won't eat more than a couple bites of pizza . I actually wish he would like it since it would make some dinners a lot easier. We've tried making our own and having him help, delivery, in a restaurant, and frozen... all gets the same two bite reception. Now chicken nuggets on the other hand, he would eat every day if allowed.

My kid doesn't really like pizza. I am baffled. Pizza is one of my favorite foods...I end up serving her something else along with pizza whenever we pick one up just so she eats SOMETHING.

We have pizza night once a week, and I swear my 2-yr-old has figured it out and fasts for days beforehand to make enough room in her tiny stomach to consume several slices of pizza at a time. The whole time she's eating, she makes comments like, "This is DELICIOUS!" "I am SO happy!" "I LOVE pizza!" that make me feel like what I normally feed her is slop.

Hell, I'm 32 and feel the same way about pizza

My 5 year old hates pizza and it's a big pain since it's served at every kid's birthday party. I wish she liked it!!

My 7 year old has suddenly decided she doesn't like pizza -- or birthday cake. Makes most birthday parties not a food event for her.

My 3 year old son hates pizza. It is nearly the only food that he doesn't like. He says the cheese tastes funny.

Same with my 40 year old husband. He could eat pizza every night (in fact, he is eating it right now instead of the stir fry I made for dinner). Plus, he loves tater tots, hot dogs (the bad kind), kraft mac and cheese, the smuckers PB&J sandwich pockets, fruity pebbles and pop tarts. Horrible, horrible diet- we joke that he never moved out of the 5 year palate phase. I would be more upset if he wasn't a thin guy who is a distance runner. I just worry about him influencing our son who for now eats mommy food

My kids always get excited about the thought of pizza but when it is there they don't eat much of it. 2-3 bites max. They chow down on sushi though. Ages 4 and 5
