Do your kids LOVE pizza?

My almost two year old picky eater loves pizza. We get the dough from whole foods or trader joes, and make it at home -- it doesn't take that long. You can load it with veggies, use whole wheat dough, etc. to make it healthier. DC eats anything as long as it is on a pizza dough..

Pizza is the shiznit. Who doesn't love pizza?

I used not to like pizza but ever since I had kids it is my absolute favorite. Probably because I don't have to cook it and we can have "picnic night" in front of the TV. We never do that but sometimes after a hard day it's so great to just snuggle up to the kids with pizza and a movie. I know that sounds like child abuse to some DCUMers but so it goes.

Same with my 40 year old husband. He could eat pizza every night (in fact, he is eating it right now instead of the stir fry I made for dinner). Plus, he loves tater tots, hot dogs (the bad kind), kraft mac and cheese, the smuckers PB&J sandwich pockets, fruity pebbles and pop tarts. Horrible, horrible diet- we joke that he never moved out of the 5 year palate phase. I would be more upset if he wasn't a thin guy who is a distance runner. I just worry about him influencing our son who for now eats mommy food

I am just like your husband. I could live on pizza and Kraft Mac n Cheese. But I usually try to have a healthy breakfast. My husband OTOH will eat cookies or coco puffs for breakfast every day. Hopefully our son will eat Mommy Breakfast and Daddy Dinner

Friday night is now pizza night at our house. Spinach and pineapple take n bake. Kids (6, 4, almost 2) LOVE it and eat a shocking amount. The almost two year old has this amazing pizza shriek - "pizzaaaaaaaaa!" - while tears stream down her face as I try to hastily cut more bites for her.
