my 2yo does the same. prefers veggies and fruits. i, on the other hand, could eat pizza several times a day. plus tater tots. plus onion rings. plus chicken nuggets. of course i don't, but it lurks underneath as a possibility. |
oops. i meant several times a week, not day
|
| ok come on, you know you meant day. |
| My kids loooove it (although they would not eat it until age 4 or so). And they love the lowest common denominator of pizza - Dominos. I responded to the other thread about unprocessed foods by saying that even though we try to eat mostly unprocessed foods in our house, my kids are pizza addicts. |
| Yes all 3 even the 10 month old! |
|
Another adult here who could eat pizza daily. We found an awesome local pizza place by our house that makes the most delicious cheese pizzas. And, I'm 38.
DS isn't as crazy about it as I am, but digs in when we do have it. |
Where??? |
Where do you live? We like The Italian Store in Arlington for pizza in Virginia. And, there is Angelo's Pasta and Deli in Rockville (MoCo). |
| PP again - and Pizza Stop in Silver Spring is good too! |
| Neither of our kids will touch the stuff. Which makes my husband glad because he could eat it every day. So more for him. |
+1
|
| Yes, my 5 year old loves pizza, too. I usually try to make my own at home with whole wheat crust. Of course, he loves turkey pepperoni too, which I'm sure it made of turkey knuckles and sawdust. |
| Are you watching the news ? |
| Who the f cares? |
| Of course -- we all love it! Oddly, though, DD will toggle between wanting lots of toppings, including strong "adult" flavors (capers, strong cheese, olives, spinach, etc.), and only accepting plain cheese. |
