Bawahaaaaaaaaaaaaa Scoreboard. |
Nobody……and I mean nobody….cares about 09 - 07 soccer. It’s not an indication of future success. In fact, your team won’t even look the same in a few years. Enjoy. Bawahaaaaaaaa |
VDA dad cares |
lol. Nobody is impressed with kickball, regardless of who plays it. |
Sure except all the posters here? In all seriousness no one cares about any travel soccer u9-u18. People care about the premier league or champions league soccer but u9-u18 travel soccer…no. |
| Well if ECNL gave Metro a spot over FCV that would be even a bigger statement than giving Arlington ECNL. |

This is a soccer forum and youth soccer dominant. There are youth forums for many stated for both boys and girls.
Parents want their DC to win or be part of the best league. It’s natural and creates discussion and debate. Before internet, parents read the local newspaper to see results, most notably the local Gazette. There will always be a debate and one side will always be the favorite. For now and the foreseeable future, ECNL is that league. Sure, some teams play “kickball” while others play possession. FYI, “kickball” is in fact a style, and those who can connect often win games. While it’s not my preference, some coaches teach that way. If you don’t like that style, find another club that plays possession. |
No other club in NOVA will ever get Girls ECNL. In fact, I suspect SOCA will get an ECNL spot next. U-little parents need to stop this belief. Not happening…. |
There are plenty of clubs that say they play possession, but none that actually do. |
ECNL needs to add to survive. Boys teams are already questioning the value. When they leave ECNL will start adding to make up for revenue losses. |
+1 |
Boys teams that are in ECNL were sacrificed for the girls teams to be in ECNL. This club to club play doesn't work for teams like Arlington and Pipeline because most of their games are against trashy teams. It's CCL all over again. |
|
ECNL doesn’t need to do anything different. Maybe you forgot they survived a hostile takeover by the US Soccer Federation.
But you’re right, it’s a girls league. Y’all boys should go play MLSnext…whatever the heck that means. Lmfao. |
+1 If a team is playing a high line and there is space behind to exploit then we will employ the ol' kickball, teaching the kids how to play the ball into space, rather than to feet, and when it's appropriate to do so. |
