I don't understand the hatred. In hindsight, they were right. We opened for hybrid because the governor forced the issue and despite the gnashing of teeth from the Smart Restart group... nothing happened.

"In hindsight" doesn't matter AT ALL. No one can make retroactive decisions. APS has made reasonable choices all along with the information & CDC guidelines available at the time.

I dislike APE because they kept pushing to open no matter what. Vaccines/no vaccines. Surge/no surge. And made empty claims of science and data. And the teacher/Duran bashing was out of hand. It was all so irrational and nasty.

Stop trying to rewrite history. Duran already had plans to open and SR was able to push on the ventilation analysis/air cleaners.

You are exactly why I can't stand APE.

Elementary should have been open since fall. The info was there, we just chose to ignore it. That’s the truth.

I'm not who you're arguing with, but nah. Both FOIA requests are entirely too coincidental. Honestly, both APE and Smart Restart need to back away from the SB races and resume arguing with themselves and trying to get attention from Daddy Duran like the naughty children they are.

Somebody summarized the past day or two succinctly. I'll just go ahead and post it below.



1.) APE member's husband FOIAed Mary Kadera's records for Miranda Turner's campaign. (Kinda sketchy, but whatever. I hope they found what they were looking for.)

2.) Husband of SR admin posted a link to an ugly Twitter page with only 11 followers (most if not all of them, SR members), where APE member's FOIA request and name was revealed. No one would have ever known about this Twitter page if he did not post it to AEM.

[Note: what's with all of these rogue husbands ]

3.) If you scrolled the Twitter page, it was very Mary Kadera friendly, and kept tagging @ArlDems and all SB members with screenshots from APE's Facebook page. The Twitter handle owner obviously has it out for Miranda Turner and APE, and wants to take them down.

[Another note: someone took screenshots of the Twitter page before it was locked down, because drama, and has threatened to release it to the internet again.]

4.) Once owner realized it wasn't going their way, they made the handle private.

5.) Drama comes here because, anon. We discuss and discuss again. A worse version of AEM.

6.) Seriously though, SR should focus on the SB and Syphax, and leave APE members alone.

Since this post, SR admin's husband backtracked so hard on AEM, and APE member's husband also commented not appreciating being outed by that Twitter thread. (You should go to AEM to read that part, honestly.) Mary Kadera had to comment publicly on this dumpster fire too, stating that she's not involved, will not FOIA anyone, and she's not affiliated with any groups. (Also on AEM thread.)

Everyone has confirmation bias, and will believe whatever and whoever they want. All we know is that one candidate will lose. None of this drama will help either of them.

Based on his statement in AEM, I actually don't think he's the Twitter account owner. I think he's covering for someone else, maybe one of his wife's SR friends. He's definitely letting himself take the fall.

If someone ever does a FOIA of the FOIA of the FOIA, we may find out who else asked for the original FOIA. Just for popcorn's sake, I hope someone spends that $25 and puts this mess all to rest. Syphax staff must be rolling their eyes so hard at them.
