Loudoun 07G ECNL vs TSJ FC VIRGINIA 07 GIRLS ACADEMY - Jefferson Cup - debate settled?

Anonymous
Loudoun and BRYC aren’t losing ECNL. Much more likely people will be saying what was the name of that club that was good for like a hot second but isn’t around any more? FC something??
Anonymous
Hey y’all. Be careful. We all need to pray that FCV stays together or else our kids will be displaced with the great wave of talent that will flood NOVA.

Lmfao. Yeah, okay.

VDA and Arlington were in the 4th bracket and did not make it into the finals. BRYC was in the 5th bracket and finished with 1 win.

I think FCV and Loudoun are both strong clubs that had strong results in a very strong Jeff Cup bracket. 1 goal and all FCV haters want to burn the club down and Loudoun wants to remain the best club ever! Silly to put your kids soccer future into one game.

It's silly to put your kid's soccer future in the trust of a club that leaves ECNL and is desperately trying to get back in.

An 07 or 08 deciding to stay with FCV is taking a leap of faith that FCV gets ECNL next spring or year after, and that, before then, none of the better players at FCV leave for a ECNL team that provides consistent better competition and a better platform for recruiting in a couple years. Let’s face it. The end is near for FCV, but any player departures would accelerate it. As another poster said, FCV’s only hope is to hold off any player departures and hope they get back in ECNL as soon as possible.

Already happening. Players are putting out feelers and attending practices shopping around.

The savvy parents know there is a first movers advantage here as there are only so many slots available. I’m sure some of the FCV girls could walk into a starting lineup but how many girls are the current ecnl clubs willing to bump off either to the 2nd team or off into CCL land? I can’t imagine that many. Maybe except for bryc

Over half of the FCV 07s starters from this weekend would walk into starting spots on Loudoun 07. The remaining FCV starters would walk into starting spots at VDA, Arlington or McLean. Be careful what you wish for.

How many spots do you think are open at vda, Arlington and McLean?

FCV parents about to find out how great their kids really are when not being carried by a few stars.

Ok we are moving into the angry stage here. Progress.

Doesn’t matter. FCV kids can take whatever spots that want. Just ask the parents. They’ll tell ya

There are a couple 07s that have been looked at repeatedly by US Soccer. You think they wouldn’t replace your little Mia in a second? Your Mia may think she has her spot locked down, but things change.

Diane D (US Soccer) has been watching 07 FCV kids practice while her daughters team plays @ Evergreen. Better lookout Loudoun parents. The team you just beat gonna take your spots.

FCV players dispersing between local clubs will make those local teams stronger. Likely increase roster sizes and make them more competitive nationally.

Yes, yes they would, and in three years one of those clubs would get to promote THEIR National Team Players who they "developed".

Yes things change, and FCV no longer being a destination club might be one of those changes.

Loudoun Ecnl with maybe 2 exceptions are grade A arrogant incompetents.

Would you please be so kind as to explain how or why? You repeat this like a mantra but you seemingly fail to provide any arguments that support or otherwise backup your... claims (hopes).

Jumping in to point out:
nobody is leaving ECNL for GAL
FCV is still trying to get back into ECNL

What would happen if ECNL accepts FCV?

Real, long-term competition where geography is no longer a factor for the kids who are interested and based on fit, coaching, performance, etc.

Migration of top Loudoun talent to FCV.

^^^ Still in the denial stage.

Chill. ECNL has no real reasons to keep dragging their name on the mud with loudon and bryc. It is wise to amend mistakes. And it’s been and being discussed to chop off a bloated and incompetent program like loudoun.

When?
Y’all love to talk about karma but karma always come back. It’s going to be real funny to watch it from afar.

No, I’m not fcv dad or interested party nor am I loudoun either. But I genuinely love all this bs especially when arrogante like y’all like to piss up high and then say it’s raining

Lol. Go figure. She’s watching the wrong team apparently. But I know that’s sales pitch to keep the players from mass exodus. Keeping feeding the parents BS lies that the scouts are watching their kids and they need to stay of track. Lmfao. Fools.
