We don't actually know this. We don't know if they have been asked to articulate anything like this. Please stop being so obstructionist.

That's not what obstructionist means. Have you seen it articulated anywhere? No. Because they haven't done it. They don't have to be invited to do give a reason. They SHOULD do it when they simply refuse to return because it's not safe. Otherwise, they're actually being obstructionist.

LAMB has bent over backwards to accommodate the teachers. Apparently, nothing is good enough.

Yes. Nothing is good enough. Is that what you want to hear? Does it make you feel better to hear it?

LAMB parents would feel better about all this if there was an actual reason given, other than "teachers are afraid." The decision to cancel school for the indefinite future seems like it's not really based on anything concrete.

You have no way of knowing this. Whoever this poster is, stop commenting completely unproductively please.

I don’t think these Washington post education hit pieces are very productive.

Meh. It got the administration of LAMB to actually start TALKING about reopening, and it got the PTO to say it would form a committee.

All the Post did was report what Charis told parents. I don't know how that makes it a hit piece.

This entire drama is being stirred up by a few new, selfish loudmouth parents, who I am sure are posting over and over here. Most of the other parents are appalled by their behavior.

You have no ability to support this statement bc there is no data.

Yes, let’s all be hush hush at the school that had a pedophilia scandal. Great choice.

There are many parents who are afraid to voice their opinions at LAMB because of the over-the-top bullying they receive from the cultish parents on ParentSquare. Without an unbiased, anonymous survey that protects parents who express their opinions, we really don't know what "most" LAMB parents think.

Bullying? Cult? I thought they were kumbaya peace circle organizers with a dash of Spanish?

I should clarify that the bullying culty parents are only a subsection of parents. Having been at one other DC school, they existed there, too. I think it's just some weird mother thing I don't understand.

There are also many LAMB parents who I have found are welcoming, calm, constructive, and helpful. It's just the bully cult ones have a stifling influence on dialogue.

The “data” I have is all of the people talking about what assholes they are.
