| Please help me understand - jerry was a teen, he asked for pics from other teens. Ok - not good and definitely deserves punishment. Then the other accusation is that He was 19 and had sex with a 17 year old boy - is that really bad? Like 15 years mandatory federal prison sentence bad? Am I letting my fondness for Jerry cloud my judgment!? Also my half sister was raped repeatedly by her biological dad starting at age 7 so that’s my personal experience with sexual abuse. What Jerry did pales compared to what my half sister went through. |

1. What your sister went through is awful. But we don't say it's not awful to go through life without shoes just because some people go through life without feet. ANY abuse of this kind is totally wrong and awful. ANY.
2. Jerry is 22 now. So he was like 20 when he was contacting the red-headed boy who was about 13. That's a full grown adult and a child. |

I think what he did was wrong and he deserves to be in jail, but what I don’t agree with is referring to him as a pedophile. He’s not a pedophile. To me there is a world of difference between what Jerry did and child sexual abuse of prepubescent children like what your half sister went through. |

I think the twins were 13 and he was 19. Also, he had sex with a 15 year old boy. I don't think it's fair to say that something isn't that bad because it isn't as bad as a dad raping a 7 year old. It's still really bad, and those boys were very brave to come forward, considering that they not only lost their anonymity around being survivors of sexual abuse but also lost their community because their abuser was so beloved. And what happened to your half sister is awful, and I'm very sorry she went through that, and I hope that her abuser is in prison for the rest of his life. |

What's up with a grown man living with a married couple with a kid? What's the deal with him ... being assistant coach when he used to be head coach and he has a new 'boss' who he used to coach. That's very weird right? |

Ok, I’ve finished much of this but not it all.
1) Navarro definitely is given a ‘flew too close to the sun’ edit and I find it compelling. TVCC is now getting the ‘hardworking underdogs’ edit, successfully. 2) watching all the early covid stuff in episode 4 was very triggering — the early nose swabs! The denial! The NCAA cancellations! It brings it all back. That’s all I’ve got for now. It’s definitely entertaining television, although I haven’t seen the Jerry episode yet. |

I think he is manic depressive. He seems extremely emotional and while he was trying to explain away why breaking up with his girlfriend 30 years ago was the best decision, it really does not seem like it was as he came across as extremely depressed and hurt talking about the past. If you are so over your ex, why do you have a framed photo of you with her front and center in your office? Have a feeling he has not had relationships since then. Except maybe in the alleged throuple? |

Jerry is a Pedophile. There is a huge difference between 13 and 19. Don’t get hung up on the “teen” part. There is a physical, emotional and mental difference, plus he was using his celebrity and power to intimidate and pressure young kids. |

Quick question about coach Monica. When she went to do her Dancing With the Stars gig, what time of year was it? Was it during the height of cheer season or close to the Daytona competition? Ladarious and his abandonment issues were over the top and it seemed unlikely that Monica would desert the team during that time. She has her own reputation to protect. |

Dancing with the Stars Fall of 2020 - End of august through October 29 Jerry was arrested in Sept 2020 Competition season is in the winter, with Nationals in Daytona at the end of February So while Monica didn’t miss nationals, the real work by the team is from Sept-January. By February the routine should be complete with full outs, so that they are just tweaking imperfections. She definitely missed the upfront work of choreography and putting the mat team together for that season. |

And I’m guessing she decided to go ahead and do DWTS because Covid was still in full swing, and there was no guarantee there would be a nationals in Feb 2021?

| I believe the Daytona competition is always in the first week of April. The DWTS fall season usually ends at Thanksgiving so I assume Monica figured she'd still have 3-4 months to prepare. |
