Agreed. Credit is due but they’re no pipeline. |
The 05s are not ECNL national champions. Just stop. |
Where? Gotsoccer? A site based on tournaments that DA teams no longer play in? |
Hah. So easy to know this considering it’s a “new team” |
Are you high? Dumb? Or ignorant? |
What do you base it on then? Lol Gotsoccer, youth soccer rankings. Tourney results etc. |
I would at least use a site that includes all teams. You soccer rankings or top drawer soccer. Got soccer excludes a lot of the best teams that don’t compete in tournaments |
None. PDA was the 05 age group ECNL champs last year. |
|
Sucks that cup games aren’t included in rankings
So stupid |
ehh. Who really cares who the "best" 05 team is? If your kid likes playing on the team she is on, great. If he/she works hard outside and at practice, everything takes care of itself. |
There is a page for rec soccer and this is not here. Please go away. |
Crazy helicopter parents only on this page! |
|
These ECNL/DA hacks have bought into the rhetoci to justify them flying all over the place and spending thousands of dollars to play in "elite" leagues. The reality is that there are strong non-ECNL/DA teams in the area that can compete with and beat DA/ECNL teams.
Baltimore Celtic beat two DA teams in VDA Showcase and Pipeline has yet to lose to an ECNL team. SAC Blue beat several ECNL clubs. Please get over it. DA/ECNL is stronger than EDP/CCL but to argue that non-DA/ECNL aren't elite stupid. http://events.gotsport.com/events/results.aspx?EventID=70391&Gender=Girls&Age=14 |
You are correct. ECNL in this area is NOT elite. It is watered down and offers more opportunities for kids to play in a "National" league. Let me know when a good DA team (Not WSVA / MU) plays a local team and loses. I'd like to hear all about it! |
| There is only one DA team that is relevant and that is FCV. Arlington is noteworthy but only the DA context. I would put Arlington on the same level as Baltimore Celtic. Bethesda, Mclean and Pipeline are the only other nationally competitive teams in the area. |
