| I was only there for the summer, so did not become acquainted with all of the teachers. Can anyone who is in the "know" comment on whether or not to their knowledge the targets of this person were female, male or both? |

| Parents, please lets not share details of who the person was on here. We need to make sure that the investigators can properly due their job without there being bias from within the community. We need to make sure that this person is held accountable to a jury and they cannot say that because of this blog we have corrupted the investigation in any way. |

Yes, there is a reason to not publicly post on the internet the name of someone who hasn't even had charges formally brought against him. |

| To the poster who made an allegation of abuse regarding the teacher in question in 2016: are you saying you’ve now recently gone again to the school in light of this summer’s allegations? If yes, that means that the school should not presently be able to deny that they’ve heard allegations about the teacher in question before. |

I’m not sure if I’m the poster you are talking about since more than one of us has mentioned things from 2016 but DJ was told in 2016 and she blew it off. Given the current allegations I have told the school and detective now as well including the fact that DJ had been told previously. |

| OK, thank you for clarifying that. My sympathies that you’re going through this situation. It’s hard for me to tell how many separate parents are speaking about allegations both today and in the past. To me, at the heart of whether manage my is trustworthy is what did they know and when. |

Would you mind sharing what you told the school in 2016? What was the nature of the allegation? What was the school’s respnse?

I’m the above poster at 15:16 and I agree, it’s hard to tell how many people are posting about prior knowledge but I know there’s at least more than one because not all of them are from me. The worst part of this for me is that DJ knew and could have prevented this. What I don’t know is how much the rest of the school knew until recently. The fact that she is still there though now that I know they are aware of what happened in the past is very disheartening. |

I’m sorry, I can’t give too much detail but it was more of a precursor to what I assume happened recently. DJ basically said she knew the teacher well and there was no way they meant anything bad by it. She also didn’t think there was anything wrong with what he did (there was). |

| Thank you for sharing this. I’m sure it’s been difficult for your family. I believe this information you are sharing helps us determine the trustworthiness of the school, although I want the school to address what they knew and when. |

Catching up on the posts from today. So DJ was informed in 2016 about allegations of abuse by this same teacher, yet allowed tons of kids (including mine, if who I assume is the teacher is correct) to be under that teacher’s care, until recently??!?!?
I am fuming right now, thinking of possibly 2 years of the school allowing kids to be watched by this monster. |

Stop it. Let's not start blaming victims. And, yes, parent of children who were violated are also victims. Everyone is doing the best he/she can under quite frankly shitty circumstances. |
