No, once a month or less is not good. But I'd regard once a week as good.

As for what's going on now, we've declined to about once every 4-6 weeks. However, like I mentioned, she initiated that quicky the other night which seems to be her way to up the frequency above the 4-6 week level -- the downside being that she wasn't as up for it as she usually is during our once a month sessions. The hope would be that the quality follows the quantity once we get in the habit.
