DP. Whoa. This soldier died in service to our country. The PPP is correct! Our prayers and begging and words of condolence won’t bring back what we so desperately want back. The President is well-known for not being eloquent however, no one would ever say he does not support pur troops. EVER.

The part of that post that confuses me the most is the part about phone calls. That poster posted on DCUM (anonymously as most of you), then received some strange phone calls at her home and somehow decided her DCUM post triggered the phone calls. She actually had me remove her post. Now she is pointing again. I assume she took her phone off the hook.

I will always get more upset about sending so many of our young people overseas in harm's way than I will about whether the condolences over their deaths are phrased well.

It’s okay to think both things are wrong. You can be both against war AND against treating military families like crap. Being against war doesn’t make you anti military. And you don’t have to be anti military to be anti war. So saying that you are more against war than treating military families poorly isn’t helpful. It’s like saying, sorry you got mugged, but actually what I’m really against is rape. It’s the same kind of lack of compassion that Trump is displaying.
